1. Overview

This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which customers may cancel their reservation and request a refund for mobility scooter rentals provided by 340 Mobility Scooters (“Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By placing a reservation, you (“Customer” or “you”) acknowledge and agree to the terms in this policy.


2. Fee Structure

Daily Rental Rate: $100 per day + tax

Weekly Rental Rate: $600 per week + tax


3. Cancellation and Refund Terms

a. Cancellations 24 Hours or More Before Rental Start Time

If you cancel your reservation 24 hours or more prior to the scheduled rental start time, you will receive a full refund minus applicable payment processing fees.

Note: Payment processing fess are determined by the original payment method used and are non-refundable. These include, but are not limited to:

  • PayPay Checkout: 3.49% + fixed fee

b. Cancellations Less Than 24 Hours Before Rental Start Time

If you cancel less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled rental start time, you will be eligible for a 50% refund of the total rental cost. The remaining 50% will be retained as a cancellation fee to cover administrative, scheduling, and lost opportunity costs.

c. No-Shows or Same-Day Cancellations

No-shows or cancellations made after the scheduled rental start time are not eligible for a refund. Exceptions may be considered in limited cases at the sole discretion of 340 Mobility Scooters.


4. Modifications and Rescheduling

Requests to reschedule or modify reservations made at least 24 hours in advance may be accommodated based on availability at no extra charge. Requests made within 24 hours of the scheduled rental may be subject to the standard cancellation policy.


5. Weather-Related Cancellations

340 Mobility Scooters operates in various weather conditions. However, if we determine that weather poses a safety risk, we reserve the right to cancel the rental and issue a full refund or reschedule the reservation.
Customer-initiated cancellations due to weather concerns are subject to the standard refund terms outlined in this policy.


6. Refund Processing

Refunds are issued to the original payment method used during booking. Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution but typically take 5–10 business days.
